London: It was a Valentine’s Day celebration no other couple had ever thought of or attempted.
Flowers and chocolates, candlelit dinner, costly gifts were passe for Miles Cloutier and Beth Neale. They decided to gift each other the longest underwater kiss.
Miles and Beth’s kiss, recorded in a pool at a resort in the Maldives, lasted 4 minutes and 6 seconds. It was acknowledged by Guinness World Record as the longest underwater kiss.
The kiss was recorded by Sidey the Shark, one of Maldives’ top underwater videographers. A crowd, which had gathered to see their Guinness Record attempt, welcomed them back on ground with loud applause.
“These lovebirds set a new underwater kiss record since their joint love was the ocean,” Guinness World Records wrote, sharing a video of the kiss on Twitter.
