Dubai: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are currently visiting Gulf countries to promote their upcoming film ‘83’, which will release on December 24.
One of their appearances was in front of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, where the trailer of the much-awaited film on Kapil Dev-led India’s historic 1983 World Cup-winning triumph was shown.
Videos have surfaced online of Ranveer and Deepika watching the trailer play out on the world’s tallest building, along with Kapil Dev, director Kabir Khan and other members of the crew.
A video shared by a fan shows Deepika and Ranveer holding each other’s hand as their eyes are glued to the ‘83’ trailer.
As the group watches the trailer, some of the onlookers whistle and cheer, while Deepika is heard saying, “Yeah, yeah, we’re booking tickets,” and Ranveer adds, “First day first show.”

Ranveer plays Kapil in the film, while Deepika enacts the role of Kapil’s wife Romi Dev.
The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa and R Badree.
The couple chose to turn up in retro outfits. Ranveer is seen wearing a shimmery golden shirt paired with mustard pants and Deepika is attired in a red dress.
