Mumbai: Around seven months after the birth of their first child, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made their first on-screen appearance together.
It’s not a film, Bollywood’s first couple ‘Deepveer’ featured in an advertisement for an air conditioner (AC).
Sharing the ad on social media, the AC brand wrote, “Good looks, good looks & good looks!”
As Deepika says that no one noticed the new AC during the party, Ranveer shows her guests were more interested in the air conditioner than Deepika’s food or stories. When Deepika gets upset, Ranveer charms her by saying that he bought the AC for her. Deepika then plants a kiss on Ranveer’s cheeks.

Deepika and Ranveer, who were blessed with daughter Dua Padukone Singh on September 8, 2024, were last seen together in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’.
The action film from the popular cop universe saw Deepika playing Shakti Shetty, aka Lady Singham, while Ranveer returned as Simmba from the 2018 movie.
Deepika and Ranveer earlier co-starred in several successful films like ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ (2013), ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015), ‘Padmaavat’ (2018) and ‘83’ (2021). They also made cameo appearances in each other’s films, ‘Finding Fanny’ (2014) and ‘Cirkus’ (2023).
Ranveer will next be seen in ‘Dhurandhar’, also featuring Akshaye Khanna. The Aditya Dhar directorial commenced production in July 2024, and is based on the history of R&AW.
