Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and East Delhi MP and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir were given a rousing welcome soon after they arrived in Odisha capital on Sunday.
A large number of fans and supporters gathered at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar and welcomed the Union Education Minister and the ex-cricketer amid drum beats.
The two leaders were received with bouquets and garlands before they left for Angul to attend a function.
According to sources, they are scheduled to take part in a programme at the Kadam ground in the industrial town of Angul.
Dharmendra, who hails from Odisha, and Gambhir also listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at Dhenkanal on their way to Angul, they added.
