Keonjhar: A fire broke out inside the CT Scan and Dialysis Centre of the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Odisha’s Keonjhar on Monday.
No one was injured in the incident. There were 11 patients inside the unit at the time. All were shifted to a safer place immediately by six doctors and over 10 hospital staff.
One patient fainted while being shifted and was immediately attended to by doctors.
The cause of the fire is under probe. A short-circuit in an air-conditioner (AC) is suspected to have started it.
The fire brigade was called to put out the fire.
