[Watch] From Today, COVID Vaccine Certificate, RT-PCR Report Not Needed To Enter Jagannath Temple In Puri

Puri: Devotees are no longer required to show either the double-dose COVID-19 vaccination certificate or RT-PCR negative test report to enter the Jagannath Temple in Puri from Monday, in further easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

But devotees will be required to wear masks, sanitise their hands and maintain social distancing while inside the temple.

While residents of Puri will be allowed to enter the temple from the west side gate, other devotees will enter the temple from Singhadwar and exit from the north entrance.

The temple will remain closed on Sundays, when the premises will be sanitised.

Earlier, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) had made it mandatory for devotees to carry either RT-PCR negative report or proof of full vaccination to enter the temple.
