Lucknow: A teenaged girl was crushed to death in a terrible road accident which was triggered by the senseless antics of bike-borne molesters.
The 17-year-old was returning home from school on a bicycle alongside another girl in Uttar Pradesh’s Ambedkar Nagar when two men on a motorcycle pulled her stole (dupatta).
The girl lost her balance and fell to the ground, before being hit by another two-wheeler which was coming from behind.
According to police, the girl suffered severe head injuries and a broken jaw, and died on the spot.
Videos of the mishap, which took place near Hirapur market in Hanswar police station area, have gone viral on social media.

Police have filed a case against the three accused – the duo on the first bike and the rider of the second bike which rammed into the girl – and arrested them after scanning CCTV footage of the area.
The three men were being taken for a medical examination today when they allegedly snatched a police rifle and tried to flee. All three were injured when police fired in retaliation.
“The three, while trying to escape, also fired upon the police personnel,” said Ambedkar Nagar SP Ajit Kumar Sinha.
The trio has been admitted to the district headquarters hospital for treatment, police said.
