[Watch] Govinda Discharged From Hospital; Actor Advised 3-4 Weeks Rest At Home

Mumbai: Actor-turned-politician Govinda was discharged from Criticare Asia Hospital here on Friday.

Govinda, who accidentally shot himself in the leg while putting aside his licensed revolver, was in hospital for three days. The actor was seen leaving the hospital in a wheelchair, with his leg in a cast.

Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Tina were they by his side when the actor was wheeled out from the hospital. Tina was seen wiping her tears as scores of fans thronged outside the hospital to wish her father a speedy recovery.

Dr Ramesh Agarwal, who treated Govinda, told ANI, “He (Govinda) has been asked to rest for 3-4 weeks now, his exercises, physiotherapy are continuing. He is fine. We are discharging him. He will rest at home.”

Govinda was rushed to hospital on Tuesday morning after he hurt himself and was left bleeding profusely. Mumbai police ruled out any foul play.

Bollywood celebrities like David Dhawan, Raveena Tandon, Rajpal Yadav, Jackky Bhagnani and Shatrughan Sinha visited the in hospital.
