Puri: Bollywood actor Govinda greeted the media with the ‘Jai Jagannath’ call after having the darshan of the Lords at Srimandir here on Tuesday.
This is his second visit to the 12th-century shrine this year. He had visited the temple with his wife Sunita earlier in May.
A visibly happy Govinda said that it was a call of Lords that brought him to Srimandir. He offered prayers to the sibling deities and spent about 30 minutes inside the temple.
An ardent devotee of Lord Jagannath, the actor believes that the darshan of the Lords alleviates his hardships, which he had been enduring for over a decade since entering politics.
He had earlier told the media that he come to Puri and worship the Lord whenever he has serious problems and finds peace.
