Guess what a groom received as wedding gift? Believe it or not, it was an AK-47 rifle!
A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, which shows a middle-aged woman handing over a brand new rifle to the groom, reportedly his son-in-law, according to Pakistani news channel ARY News.
The guests at the function, reportedly in Pakistan, were so excited they broke into loud cheers, with some even asking the groom to lift up the rifle.
There was mixed response from netizens.
“That’s the reason why Pakistan is the epicentre of terror,” a Twitter user reacted.
Someone pointed out that none of the people seen in the video looks scared at the sight of the dangerous and unusual gift.
