Rourkela: Fédération Internationale de Hockey (FIH) officials on Wednesday inspected the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium at the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) campus in Odisha’s Rourkela.
Odisha will host the 2023 Men’s Hockey World Cup. The matches will be played at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela.
FIH’s Acting President Seif Ahmed, CEO Thierry Well, Hockey India CoA members S Y Quraishi, and Zafer Iqbal, IDCO Chairman Hemant Sharma and Odisha’s Sports Secretary R Vineel Krishna visited the stadium and inspected the progress of work.
