[Watch] Indian Cricketers Sing Their Hearts Out To Celebrate Series Win Vs Sri Lanka

Colombo: The Indian players let their hair down to celebrate a sensational come-from-behind series-clinching victory over Sri Lanka on Tuesday.

After returning to their hotel, some of the team members had a late-night jam session as they sang the popular Bollywood number ‘Bheegi Bheegi’.

A video shared by Suryakumar Yadav, one of the architects of the three-wicket win, shows lead singers Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar and Krishnappa Gowtham being joined by a few other members of the squad as they sang the ‘Gangster’ song in chorus.

The video garnered close to 2 lakh ‘likes’, and counting.

Chasing 276 to win the match, India looked down and out as they stumbled to 193 for 7 in the 36th over with all their specialist batsmen and allrounders back in the pavilion. But a heroic unbeaten 69 by Man-of-the-Match Deepak Chahar and his 84-run partnership with fellow-pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar took India over the line with 5 balls to spare, giving them an unassailable 2-0 lead.

India had cruised to a 7-wicket win in the opening game of the series. The final ODI will be played on Friday.
