Puri: Even as Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine with air strikes on military bases and key installations, killing dozens and forcing hundreds to flee for their lives on Thursday, three Iskcon devotees from Russia offered prayer in front of Jagannath temple, here, for end of the wat and restoration of peace.
The Russian devotees were on a visit to the pilgrim town to offer prayer and puja to Lord Jagannath temple from outside before their country declared war on Ukraine.
