Puri: On World Press Freedom Day, two media persons were allegedly attacked by forest guards near Balukhand-Konark Wildlife Sanctuary in Puri district on Sunday.
A reporter and a cameraperson of Kanak News were doing a story on the impact of Cyclone Fani on the place which had occurred a year ago.
According to a complaint lodged at the Penthakata Marine police station, two drunk forest guards attacked the journos and tried to snatch the camera. An investigation is going on as to why they attacked the journalists.
