Bhubaneswar/Mumbai: Dr Sasmita Kar of Odisha on Friday took to the hot seat of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) opposite megastar and host Amitabh Bachchan after beating two other contestants in the fastest finger first round.
The contestants were asked to arrange these days – Monday, Thursday, Wednesday and Saturday – of a week in the correct order starting from Sunday.
An assistant professor at RD Women’s University in Bhubaneswar, Kar started using her lifelines from the very beginning of the game.
By the 11th question, she had exhausted all her lifelines, including 50-50, Video a Friend and Ask The Expert. She incorrectly answered the question for 6 lakh 40 thousand rupees and took home a prize money of Rs 3.2 lakh.
