Balasore: The driver and helper of a coal-laden truck had a narrow escape after the vehicle caught fire on National Highway 60 near Haldipada bypass under Basta police limits in Balasore district.
According to reports, the truck was going towards Kolkata when a tyre burst and soon after the vehicle caught fire.
However, the driver and helper of the truck managed to jump out in time and save themselves. Local fire-fighters rushed to the spot and brought the flames under control.
Local police too reached the spot and started investigation into the mishap.
