Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday visited his mother Heeraben Modi at her residence in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar on her birthday.
Modi, who sought her blessings and washed her feet, dedicated a blog to her mother as she entered her 100th year. Heeraben was born on June 18, 1923.
“Maa… this isn’t a mere word but it captures a range of emotions. Today, 18th June is the day my Mother Heeraba enters her 100th year. On this special day, I have penned a few thoughts expressing joy and gratitude,” Modi wrote on Twitter, while sharing the link to his blog.
