Mumbai: Bollywood stars earn a fortune and are super rich. But many of them are well known for their big deeds in contributing for the society. And when their young offsprings get into the act, too, the parents are filled with joy and pride.
Take the case of Ryan Nene.
Former ‘Dhak dhak’ girl Madhuri Dixit and Dr Shriram Nene’s younger son decided to grow his hair long, so that he could donate it to the Cancer Society.
On National Cancer Awareness Day, Madhuri took to Instagram to share a video of 16-year-old Ryan giving away his tresses.
“Ryan felt heartbroken seeing several folks who were undergoing chemo for cancer. With everything they go through, they lose their hair. My son took a call of donating his hair to the Cancer Society. We as parents were thrilled with his decision,” Madhuri wrote.
She revealed that Ryan did not get a haircut for almost two years as he wanted to help those suffering from cancer.

Madhuri’s post evoked praises aplenty for her son.
“Proud of your son and congratulations for good parenting,” one netizen wrote.
Another commented: “So that was the reason for the long hair? Awwww.”
A third user called Ryan a hero. “Incredible. Many thanks to Ryan. A true hero indeed,” he posted.
Madhuri and Dr Nene’s elder son Arin is currently studying at University of Southern California in the US.
