Puri: A 35-year-old man from Balasore district in Odisha went missing on Saturday while bathing in the sea at Puri beach.
Search operations are continuing to trace Bansidhar Behera. Life guards immediately swung into action after being alerted that a tourist was missing. While they were able to rescue two tourists from Jharkhand, they could not trace Behera.
The tourists from Jharkhand were identified as Nishant Goyal and Himanshu Kumar.
Behera had come to Puri with his family members. While taking bath with his son at the beach near Chaitanya Chhak at Secor 9, he went missing.
A video has surfaced, in which Behera is seen running towards the sea and jumping into the water. Soon after, he went missing.
