Balasore: A couple in Odisha’s Balasore district proved the proverb ‘love is eternal and it never fades away with time’ by tying the knot in a filmy style.
Subhranshu and Debasmita entered into the sacred relationship, as per Hindu tradition in presence of their families, relatives, and friends.
Notably, both were in deep love and Debasmita suddenly developed the symptoms of paralysis in 2019 which eventually reduced her ability to move. However, Subhranshu, a native of Balasore, did not leave Debasmita. He chose to keep his promise and get married to her.
“We came into a relationship in 2015. She has taught me what true love is. My love is nothing compared to feelings for me,” Shrubhansu told media.
The couple met in college and Shrubhansu confessed his feelings to her after their graduation.
“Just because I married a girl who is wheelchair-bound, everyone is praising me. No one sees her love and effort toward me. I can guarantee that had I been completely paralysed, she would have given me more care and love than what I am doing for her,” he added.
Meanwhile, Debasmita said that Subhranshu never made her feel that she is wheelchair-bound.
