New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi threw up a surprise by joining a virtual live session with students of CBSE schools on Thursday.
Having announced the cancellation of Class 12 CBSE exams two days ago following a high-level meeting with several ministers and officials, Modi interacted with students as well as their parents, and addressed issues related to the cancellation of the crucial exam.
The PM wanted to know how students felt after the cancellation of the Board examination amid the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
“Students of Class 12 always keep thinking of the future. Till 1st June, you all must have been preparing for the exams,” he said, adding that students should never be tense about exams.
He advised them that since health is wealth, they should remain physically fit. He checked with students how they will be spending time now.
“India’s youth is positive as well as practical,” he said.
The interaction was organized by the Ministry of Education.
