New Delhi: MS Dhoni is regarded as one of the best skippers in the history of Indian cricket. Despite the endless list of achievements, Dhoni has often faced backlash with Yograj Singh, father of legendary cricketer Yuvraj, being one of the prominent voices among them. He has once again made headlines for his rant against the former Indian skipper. The video has been doing rounds on social media. “I won’t forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life.” Yograj said in an interview.
“That man has ruined my son’s life, who could have played for four to five more years. I challenge everyone to have a son like Yuvraj. Even Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have said that there will never be another Yuvraj Singh,” he added.
While the video did generate a lot of buzz given the fanbase Dhoni enjoys in the country, another video is also doing rounds on social media. This video is an old clip of Yuvraj Singh, who in a podcast states that his father has “mental issues.”
Notably, both Dhoni and Yuvraj have shared the dressing room in the past and are part of some glorious chapters of Indian cricket. In fact, Yuvraj played a stellar role in helping Dhoni-led Team India lift the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup.
