Baripada: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik will distribute smart cards of Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) among the beneficiaries of Mayurbhanj district on Friday.
As per the programme, the chief minister will arrive at a temporary helipad in Baripada at 11 am and proceed on road to Sahid Smruti Bhawan where he will hand over the smart health cards to the beneficiaries. The district administration will distribute the smart cards in 26 blocks and 4 civic bodies subsequently.
Later, Naveen will lay foundation stone and inaugurate several projects of Rs 2,400 crore. He will also address the people gathered on the occasion.

For the visit of the chief minister, adequate security arrangements under the supervision of IG (Eastern) Himanshu Lal and Mayurbhanj SP RJ Khilari have been put in place in Baripada town. Three SPs, 5 DSPs, 8 inspectors and 65 sub-inspectors will ensure the law and order. As many as 16 platoons of police will also be deployed for the purpose.
