Mumbai: Continuing his tirade against NCB officer Sameer Dawood Wankhede, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik told the media that the former resorted to extortions in Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Shradha Kapoor case.
The actresses were summoned by NCB in September last year for questioning over an FIR primarily based on Rhea Chakraborty’s WhatsApp chats purportedly discussing drugs.
“They were called for questioning. However, no chargesheet has been filed even after 14 months. The officer has deliberately kept the case open,” he alleged.
Malik further said that crores of rupees have been extorted using these cases “The extortion was conducted in the Maldives. I even shared photos (of Wankhede) from Dubai and the Maldives,” he said.
The NCP spokesperson also shared screenshots of a WhatsApp chat, which he claimed was between Wankhede’s sister Yasmeen and a drug peddler.
