New Delhi: US Vice-President Kamala Harris has come under severe criticism after she broke into laughter on a question on Ukrainian refugees.

The incident occurred when Harris and Polish President Andrzej Duda were addressing a joint press conference in Warsaw on Thursday.

A reporter asked Harris whether the US will take in Ukrainian refugees.

Harris looked at the Polish President and then responded, “A friend in need is a friend indeed,” before breaking into laughter.

For her “unacceptable behaviour”, Harris was hammered on Twitter.
