Odia talent is making a splash all over the country. Whether it’s dancers, singers, painters or actors, they are making a mark and doing the state proud.
Young singer Anurag Panda is the latest to make a mark. He was recently featured in Amaal Mallik’s new video for the song ‘Saath Ho Tera’.
The Bhubaneswar native did his graduation in Bengaluru, where he won a number of singing competitions. Upon his return to his home town in 2020, he started posting cover songs on social media, gaining immense popularity. He caught the attention of Universal Music India, which appreciated his work.
He has to his credit a couple of Odia songs and four Hindi songs, that have received the audience’s love. Besides, Anurag was one of the winners of the viral cover contest judged by Vishal Mishra. He also took part in iDIVA 123 Riyaaz Season 2, organised by Smule India with mentors Amaal Mallik, Lisa Mishra and Aastha Gill. He was among the winners to be featured in a music video. Anurag was called to Mumbai to record at Studio 504 with Amaal Mallik.
In his own words, he had a phenomenal experience as a team member in Aastha Gill’s show. The song ‘Saath Ho Tera’ is created by Amaal Mallik. The video features other talents including Amaal Mallik, Lisa Mishra, Aastha Gill, Ramona Raphel, Ritu Roy, Ruchika Upreti, Tarun Naga, Nilanjana Ghosh, Pooja Chakrabarti, Saurabh Narsikar, Anirban Chattopadhyay, Prakruti Yadav, Deeksha Parva, Anurag Panda, Vijay Sharma and Bidisha Biswas.
