Bhubaneswar: Renowned singers of Ollywood have rendered a song to spread awareness about the coronavirus pabdemic and importance of social distancing and other safety measures.
Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini has taken the initiative to produce the song.
“We should strictly follow all the precautions to avoid coronavirus. I have started an awareness campaign for this. My organisation ‘Sammanita’ produced the song to generate awareness about coronavirus. People should not panic in this time,” said Varsha.
Earlier, Varsha had made a documentary video ‘Bharat Basi Bhari Sahasi’ to spread awareness about the virus and precautions against it.
“I had made the documentary video with the help of Ollywood stars to create awareness. Taking a step forward in the initiative, I thought of creating a song,” she added.
Ollywood singers Krishna Beura, Ira Mohanty, Antara Chakrabarty and Swayam Prakash Padhi have rendered the song.
“To create this song, no one had to step out or go to any studio to record it. The singers featuring in the song recorded their videos at their homes and shared them with me. I then edited them,” the actress said.
The song sends out the message to wash hands regularly, make and wear masks, maintain social distancing, help in household works, and take care of old people.
