Bhubaneswar: Ftare a gap of almost two years, Patha Utsav returned to Janpath in Odisha capital on Sunday morning with Christmas and Hockey as the themes. The street festival was held from 6.30 am to 9.30 am.
Patha Utsav is a platform where local art, state history, culture, and heritage are showcased to encourage art among budding artists, reading habits among children, story-telling and street plays to promote social messages.
The stretch from Master Canteen Chhak to Ram Mandir Square was filled with people who participated in various activities including roller skating, rangoli, dance and singing this morning. They were also seen stretching at the open gym and grooving to live music.
A special stage was set up for people to showcase their talent under the tagline, ‘Bhubaneswar’s Got Talent’. Besides, two stages were erected for cultural shows, including one at Master Canteen Square and another near Ram Mandir.
Notably, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation will be conducting three ‘Patha Utsav’ this year, initially. While the first one was held on Master Canteen Chhak to Ram Mandir Square stretch, the second will be held on January 8, 2023, near KIIT Square. Likewise, the third event will be organised near Ekamra Constituency on January 15.
