Taiwan: A 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck off the southeast coast of Taiwan on Sunday. A tsunami warning was issued by Japan following the earthquake.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) lowered the earthquake from its initial strength of 7.2 to 6.9 magnitude.
