A video of a CNN reporter being interrupted by a racoon outside the White House, just before he was to go live, has gone viral.

The incident was caught on camera as the sudden appearance of the racoon — a medium-sized mammal found in North America — startled senior Washington correspondent Joe Johns, who can be heard shouting “get lost”.

He is seen throwing something at the mammal before facing the camera.

NN report, Johns was about to go live with an update on President Donald Trump’s health when he spotted the raccoon.
