Mumbai: ‘Mardaani’ cop Rani Mukerji has been roped in by the Mumbai police foundation to appeal to citizens to stay calm during these testing times, through a motivational music video ‘Rakh Tu Hausla’.
Written and directed by Pravin Talan, the song is dedicated to the COVID-19 warriors and Police personnel who are risking their lives to take care of their fellow-citizens.
T-series head honcho Bhushan Kumar shared the inspirational music video on his social media handle.
He captioned it: “Celebrating their bravery. Celebrating them. #RakhTuHausla, jeet Jayenge hum @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice #MumbaiPoliceFoundation @TSeries #RaniMukerji @pravintalan #PravinTalanPhotography @Swaritnigam @rupalisaagar @nippuk #PoonamTalan”
Mumbai Police shared the teaser of the song on their official Twitter handle.
“Rakh Tu Hausla” is about the human courage in these difficult times and the spirit of Mumbai city and its police force.
As many as 1508 Mumbai Police personnel got infected by the deadly coronavirus and 16 of them lost their lives.
The track has been composed by Nippu Khound and rendered by Swarit Nigam.
