Bhubaneswar: Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable NB Rao saved a passenger from being sucked into the platform gap at Bhubaneswar railway station on Monday.
The video of the incident has gone viral and people are all praise for Rao for his prompt action.
According to sources, Nazir Mallik (24) slipped while trying to get down from BBS-BHC MEMU Passenger when in motion on platform 2 of the railway station and fell into the gap between the train and the edge of the station platform. Rao, who was seen walking on the platform, dashed towards him and pulled him out from the gap.
Mallik belongs to Mathuri village of Purba Medinapur district in West Bengal.
