Mumbai: Salman Khan, having received multiple death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has largely stayed out of the limelight since the murder of his close friend and politician Baba Siddique.
On Wednesday, however, the Bollywood superstar didn’t shirk from fulfilling his duty as a responsible citizen as ‘Bhaijaan’ stepped out of his residence on polling day for the Maharashtra Assembly.
Salman, who has been provided with Y+ category security, turned up at a polling booth in Bandra to cast his vote, surrounded by security personnel. Donning a grey T-shirt, jeans and black cap, Salman was seen in a sunglass.

Before Salman stepped out of his SUV, his security team ensured everything was under control at the polling station. Mediapersons were advised to maintain a distance from Salman and his entourage.
He was clearly not willing to speak to the press.
Earlier in the day, Salman’s father Salim Khan, accompanied by his wife, went to cast their votes, surrounded by a team of bodyguards.
Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan, sisters Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Arpita Khan Sharma and other members of the family were spotted at the voting booth.
Maharashtra voted for 288 Assembly constituencies in a single phase on November 20. The results will be announced on November 23, along with Jharkhand Assembly polls and byelections across the country.
