Chennai: Samantha Ruth Prabhu had taken a sabbatical after being diagnosed with Myositis, an auto-immune condition.
Now, the actress is back in business.
Sharing the good news with her fans and followers, the popular actress posted a video to announce that she has resumed work.
Samantha was also excited to inform fans about a health podcast, for which she has collaborated with a friend, to be released shortly.
“Yes, I am going back to work, finally. But apart from that, in the meantime, I was so completely jobless. But I am doing something fun with a friend. It’s a health podcast. It is quite unexpected, but it is something that I really, really love. I am extremely passionate about and I am very excited that it is releasing next week. I hope that some of you really find it extremely useful. And, I think I have enjoyed making this,” Samantha says in the video.

Samantha, who has been a source of inspiration for many with a way she conducts herself despite having faced multiple problems in life, took a break after finishing her work in the Indian chapter of action-thriller ‘Citadel’, which will be released on Prime Video.
Samantha, who will share screen space with Varun Dhawan, underwent treatment for Myositis in the US, and travelled extensively around the world.
Her last released film was Shiva Nirvana’s ‘Kushi’, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda.
