Mumbai: It was a routine he used to do regularly for his multitude of fans. The COVID-19 pandemic forced a halt, but on Tuesday, Shah Rukh Khan made an appearance on the balcony of his house Mannat to greet thousands of fans on the occasion of Eid.
The Internet was flooded with pictures and videos of the ‘Bollywood Badshah’ waving, blowing kisses and bowing to the sea of humanity.
Clad in jeans, navy T-shirt and sporing black sunglasses, Shah Rukh struck his signature pose — with arms flung to both sides — as he stood on the iron balcony at the entrance of Mannat.

As somebody from home passed on a mobile phone, he even clicked selfies which he later shared on social media.
“How lovely to meet you all on Eid… May Allah bless you with love happiness and may the best of your past be the worst of your future. Eid Mubarak!!” he wrote alongside the pictures.
The fans screamed and whistled in delight at the sight of their favourite actor.
The pandemic apart, SRK had kept a low profile for a few months after his son Aryan was arrested in connection with the drugs-on-cruise case last October. After spending about 4 weeks in jail, Aryan was granted bail.
