[Watch] Shah Rukh Khan’s Battered & Bruised Look In ‘Jawan’

Mumbai: There was speculation that Shah Rukh Khan was set to collaborate with young director Atlee for the first time.

On Friday, the superstar lifted the suspense as he shared a 90-second teaser for his upcoming Atlee film ‘Jawan’, to be released a year from now.

“An action-packed 2023!!- Bringing #Jawan to you, an explosive entertainer in cinemas 2nd June 2023. In Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada,” SRK wrote on Instagram along with the teaser.

The teaser reveals Shah Rukh’s somewhat scary look — face wrapped in bandages, with a gun in hand.

For the 35-year-old Atlee, it will be his first multilingual film, having done only Tamil movies till now.

Fans couldn’t contain their excitement.

“Itna chot lagne par bhi jo fantastic lage, woh Shah (Only Shah Rukh can look fantastic despite being beaten up like this),” wrote one user.

“This is a killer look. Oh my god!” posted another.

Some fans commented how Shah Rukh was delivering one surprise after another.

He had no releases since ‘Zero’ in 2018. Now, he has three films in the pipeline – Pathaan, Dunki and Jawan.

Sidharth Anand-directed Pathan, which also stars Deepika Padukone, will be released in January 2023.
