Mumbai: Amidst the ongoing hubbub around Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case, his flatmate Siddharth Pithani revealed the events before the actor’s demise.
In an exclusive interview with Times Now, Siddharth said that he had sensed in January itself that Sushant was in a bad shape.
“I met Sushant in January. He said he was in a bad shape, his hands were shivering,” said Pithani.
Then they went to Chandigarh to meet Sushant’s family. Sushant was taking medicines at that time. After he started feeling better, he discontinued the medicines.
“By then Sushant was taking medicines and he was feeling perfectly alright, however, as soon as he got well, he stopped taking his meds,” said Pithani.
Pithani also stated that he was informed by the actor’s staff that his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was exploiting Sushant financially. She was using the actor’s credit and debit cards for ordering things.
When he confronted the actor about this, Sushant told him that Rhea was like a family member.
The actor was worried about his expenses and told Pithani that he won’t be able to pay him as he won’t get any films in future.
When Siddharth asked him the reason behind his worries, Sushant had no appropriate answer.
Investigation in the Sushant suicide case is still on and the Centre on Wednesday approved a CBI probe.
The Supreme Court, during a session to hear Rhea’s plea, refused to grant her interim protection.
