Rourkela: The most popular and most loved playback singer of Bollywood Sonu Nigam mesmerised the audience with his soothing melodies at Rourkela City Fest on Sunday.
He sang many of his hit numbers – ‘You are my soniya’ and ‘Suraj Hua Madham’ from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum, ‘Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke’ from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, the title track of ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’, ‘Dil Dooba’ from Khaakee and many more.
Renowned playback singer Neeti Mohan was the second artist of the evening who made the audience groove to her songs.
Notably, she had also performed at the second edition of ‘DoT Fest’ in Bhubaneswar on January 17.
The Rourkela fest was organised from January 14-22 and featured live performances by leading actor Disha Patani, Sukhwinder Singh, Black Swan, Rapper Big Deal, Benny Dayal, Prince Dance Group, Ananya Nanda, Benny Dayal, Prince Dance Group, Ananya Nanda, Kabir Cafe band, Indian Ocean band, Dancer Harihar Dash, Navya Jaiti, Thaikuddum Bridge (rock), DJ Praveen Nair, Kailash Kher, Odissi Nritya Mandal, Amit Trivedi & Gang, Gunjan Dance Academy, Salim Sulaiman & Gang, and Mayurbhanj Chhau Dance.
