Ludhiana: Sonu Sood had made headlines for helping hundreds of migrant workers travel back home during the COVID-induced lockdown in 2020.
The Bollywood actor showed his human face once again as he came to the rescue of a road accident victim.
A video, shared online by Sonu Sood Foundation, shows Sonu coming across an accident site on a highway and immediately getting down from his car to help an unconscious man.
In what seemed to be a collision involving two cars, Sonu and his co-travellers are seen trying to open the doors of one of the cars which had a person trapped inside. After trying all doors, Sonu manages to get inside, pulls out a man and carries him in his arms.
The person, apparently without consciousness, is placed on the backseat of another car and driven to the hospital.
The victim is then seen in a hospital, lying on a stretcher with blood on his body with Sonu and others beside him.
“Every Life Counts,” Sonu Sood Foundation captioned the video. Watch it here:
As the video went viral, netizens were all praise for Sonu.
“It is needed in today’s world that everyone helps others like you,” posted one user.
Another wrote: “Till I’m alive I will keep believing that this man Sonu Sood is a living Saviour of mankind. My prayers for you always Sir. God’s blessings for you abundantly.”
