[Watch] Spl Squad Nabs Millionaire Illegal Ganja Trader From Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Baripada: A ganja peddler was arrested by special squad of police from Udala and two expensive cars were seized his possession. Police also seized around 8 quintal ganja from different locations belonging to the accused.

He has been identified as Sarat Naik of Kanyakhunta village under Kaptipada police limits in the district.

Sarat was under the police scanner for rise in his property list in barely a few months time. The police tracked all information and got wind of his illegal ganja trade.

Waiting for an opportune time, the squad raided his house at Kanyakhunta on Friday and seized over one quintal of ganja from his house. The team also seized gold and other valuables from his house.

Another team raided Sarat’s building at Ward no. 3 under Udala NAC and recovered 3 quintal of ganja packed for trafficking.

Similarly, two other teams of the squad seized 3.5 quintal ganja from his rented house at Udala and one quintal of ganja from his parental house.
