[Watch] Teaser Of Kajol’s New Year Film, Set To Release On Netflix

Mumbai: There’s good news for Kajol fans. Her next film ‘Tribhanga’ will release on the OTT platform this month itself.

Releasing a teaser of the film on Friday, Netflix announced that ‘Tribhanga’ will premiere on January 15. It will be Kajol’s first digital release.

Written and directed by Renuka Shahane, the film also stars Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar in important roles.

Sharing the teaser video, Renuka took to social media and posted: “Dear Kajol, Tanvi, Mithila. Or should I say, dear Anu, Nayan, Masha? These characters which were only mine for 6 years during which I mothered, nurtured, shaped, sometimes disciplined, sometimes pampered them, then became yours. You made them your own. Gave them your flesh & blood, vulnerability, and strength, tears, and laughter, making them much more than I had imagined. Tribhanga, Tedhi, Medhi, Crazy, the story of Anu, Nayan Masha, will be seen from the 15th of January 2021 on Netflix. Here’s a sneak peek. 2021 has truly begun well. Tribhanga is a story spanning three generations — from the late 1980s to the present day.

“It’s a heart-warming story-line that looks at the importance of family in everyday lives,” was how Renuka had described the script.

Kajol’s husband Ajay Devgn is one of the producers of Tribhanga.
