[Watch] The Great Khali Joins Farmers’ Protest, Asks Govt Not To Mess With Them

New Delhi: The farmers’ agitation against the Centre’s new farm laws received a shot in the arm when popular WWE wrestler The Great Khali threw his weight behind them.

In a video shared on Instagram, when Khali – whose real name is Dalip Singh Rana – urged everyone to support the farmers who marched all the way from Punjab and have been protesting for almost a week at different points of the Delhi border.

“Government has messed with the wrong people. It will be tough for them,” he said, asking the Centre to roll back the farm laws.

A professional wrestler since 2000, Khali is the first Indian to win the World Heavyweight Championship in WWE history.

An officer with Punjab Police before taking up professional wrestling, Khali has acted in four Hollywood films, two Bollywood films and a number of television shows.
