Angul: Vehicular movement came to standstill for almost two hours after a tusker went on a rampage on Chhendipada-Jarapada road under Chhendipada Forest Range in Angul district and chased commuters.
The elephant also flipped a motorcycle parked on the roadside by a reporter who had gone there to cover the incident and partially damaged it.
According to sources, the tusker has been straying into human habitation after being separated from the herd for the last two months. It was seen in Talcher town two days ago.
