New Delhi: Uganda made history on Thursday as they qualified for next year’s T20 World Cup, to be hosted by the West Indies and the US.

The East African country booked its spot in a global cricket meet for the first time ever with a nine-wicket victory over Rwanda.

Soon after the winning run was scored, the Ugandan cricketers broke into a spirited celebration.

A video which has gone viral on social media shows the team members dancing as a group in a unique way and posing for pictures.

Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) posted the celebratory dance on X.

“Celebrations just got started! T20 World Cup-bound Uganda once again took the famous nursery school rhyme to the global audience,” UCA wrote.
