[Watch] Union Minister Leads Rescue Of Woman Trapped Under Lorry

Hyderabad: In a freakish mishap, a woman got trapped under a lorry in Singapur, near Telangana’s Huzurabad, on Monday.

The woman, identified as Divyasree from Kalleda village in Manakondur Mandal, was in trouble as her hair got caught under the wheel of the heavy vehicle. Not only did she receive injuries, she was unable to move.

BJP leader Bandi Sanjay, the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, was en route to Mulugu when he saw the commotion at the accident site and stopped to enquire what had happened.

Sanjay, two-time MP from Karimnagar and a former Telangana BJP president, assessed the situation and directed local people wo had gathered at the site to cut Divyasree’s hair to help her wriggle out from under the lorry.

A video showing the minister coordinating rescue efforts and managing traffic at the accident site has gone viral.

Once Divyasree was freed from under the heavy vehicle, the minister arranged for her immediate transfer to Life Line Private Hospital in Karimnagar.

Sanjay called hospital authorities to assure them that he would cover all medical expenses for Divyasree’s treatment, and also urged them to ensure her swift recovery.
