Chandigarh: The famous Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district received the season’s first snowfall on Sunday.
There was no disruption in movement, authorities said. Devotees were reportedly seen enjoying the snowfall.
Daytime temperature in Jammu dropped to 17.2 degrees Celsius, 1.8 degrees below normal. The night temperature was 4.2 degrees Celsius, which is 3.2 degrees below the season’s average.
