Khurda: A video of a woman allegedly being thrashed by some men and her thatched house being set on fire at Kadab village under Begunia police limits in Odisha’s Khurda district has gone viral.

Sources attributed the incident to a land dispute.

Khurda SP Ajay Pratap Swain told the media that two cases have been registered in Begunia police station by the rival parties. “Two persons, who were seen thrashing the woman in the video, have been arrested and they will be forwarded to court,” he said.

Further investigation is on, he added.
