Mumbai: It’s no secret now that Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are a couple. They have been painting the town red, sharing mushy photographs and posting romantic notes for each other.
Though there is a 12-year age difference between the two, they are well-loved couple. But that doesn’t mean netizens will spare them if they notice something criticism-worthy.
Malaika and Arjun had recently gone to the Maldives for a vacation. On their return to Mumbai on Sunday night, they were clicked by the paparazzi at the Mumbai airport. While Arjun donned a black T-shirt, jeans, a matching cap and black sunglasses, Malaika was also in casual attire. But her baggy ripped jeans didn’t go down well with a section of social media.
Watch the airport video which was shared on Instagram by bollywoodpap and Viral Bhayani:
No sooner had their pictures and videos from the airport gone viral, than the glamorous diva started getting trolled for her selection of jeans.
Some felt Malaika’s jeans were too torn.
“RIP Jeans,” commented one user.
“Kutta piche pad gya tha kya jo pant fat gyi (did a dog tear apart your pant),” wrote another person.
Among other uncharitable comments were “Such ugly jeans.. Shame,” and “Jeans dekho… Katora andar chala jaye… Chnda batorne ke liye.”
There were some comments on their age difference as well – Malaika turned 48 in October, while Arjun is 36.
One user even trolled Arjun for their lavish holiday in the Maldives. “Last time Arjun didn’t have 10 lakh for donation lekin Maldives main per night 17 lakhs kharcha karke aya,” read the post.
