Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik appeared on Kapil Sharma Show with a special message for the guests, which included Indian national hockey teams led by Rani Rampal and Manpreet Singh, this Saturday.
The host of the show congratulated the CM for supporting the Indian Hockey teams. Odisha has been sponsoring the teams since 2018 and has announced to continue doing so for another 10 years.
In his video message, Naveen congratulated the players for their performance at Tokyo Olympics 2020. “You will be an inspiration for the future generation and we will attain new heights in the coming days,” he said.
The CM also thanked Kapil Sharma for encouraging the hockey players.
Manpreet Singh, PR Sreejesh, Rupinder Pal Singh, Birendra Lakra, Lalit Kumar Upadhyay, Mandeep Singh and Harmanpreet Singh from the Men’s team and Rani Rampal, Savita, Gurjit Kaur, Neha Goyal, Sushila Chanu and Navneet from the women’s team were celebrated on the show.
Sharing his experience, Krushna Abhishek said it was an honour to make them laugh. “Every artist is always happy to perform on stage but today was a special day to perform in front of real-life heroes who made our nation proud .. it made me feel so special to make them laugh and give them some light moments,” he added.
