[Watch] Why Did Kajol Lose Her Cool At Mumbai Durga Puja?

Mumbai: Durga Puja may be the biggest festival in West Bengal, but several other places in the country celebrate the four days with great fervour.

In the Mumbai pujas, there is an added attraction for the public who attend the festival. They get to see and meet VIPs, especially Bollywood celebrities, who take part in the rituals every year.

On Friday, which happened to be Maha Ashtami, the likes of Kajol, Alia Bhatt and her sister Shaheen, Rani Mukerji and Ajay Devgn were spotted at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja.

In between taking part in Pushpanjali, Aarti and interacting with each other, Kajol got agitated and lost her cool.

What was the provocation?

The actress spotted some visitors wearing shoes near Goddess Durga’s idol and immediately asked them to remove their footwear while coming close to the Goddess.

Amid the din, she took a microphone to make herself heard clearly.

Addressing the crowd, Kajol said sternly, “Have some respect, this is puja.”
